Two planners, the same table

One of us writes the document. One of us builds the workbook. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we are both in the hall. The rest of the week the calls run from Room Linia or Room Sfatul.

A rented room since March 2019

The studio opened in a room on the second floor of a courtyard building on Strada București. The brief was the same then as it is now: a meeting is coming, and the story and the sheet do not yet say the same thing. Banks in Chișinău, a partner in another city, a family that wants to add seats, a grant file that has wandered away from its numbers.

Remote work became the default once clients in Bălți and Cahul, then in Iași and Bucharest, asked for the same pack without the drive. One engagement was done entirely with a client who joined from Lyon. The hall stayed, because some models only settle when the sheet is on the wall and someone can walk up to a cell and disagree with it.

The plotter arrived in 2021. Before that we pinned A3 sheets and they were too small for a table of six. We still do the work ourselves. There is no pool of associates and no course to sell. If a job needs a lawyer, a valuer, or an auditor, we say so in the reply and we do not pretend to be them.

How a week actually goes

Monday is for reading what arrived, and for calls that cannot wait until Tuesday. The hall is closed unless a date was fixed the week before. Tuesday and Thursday are the long table: four hours if a client is in the city, otherwise the same hours on the board for a job that is mid-way.

Wednesday and Friday are writing days. The document is drafted against the sheet, not the other way round. A sentence that cannot point at a cell is cut. The deck, when there is one, is last, and it is short on purpose.

Files leave as PDF and XLSX. In the hall you can also take the plotted A0. Language is English or Romanian, and Russian when the meeting itself will be in Russian. The reply to the brief names the language before we start. Fees and the count of working days are on the studio page, and they are confirmed again in that reply.
